CONNECTIONS IN THE WORLD

There are 230 clubs of emigrated Trentini in the world; most of them are located in South America. 37 clubs are situated in Europe, among them 13 are in Italy and 4 in Bosnia. The pins on the map point out where the schools involved in the project are, the colour shows the distribution of the clubs in the world.

What is

Trentino Oltreconfine?

Trentino Oltreconfine is a cultural and generational exchange project made up of a network of schools and local communities of young descendants of Trentino emigrants in Europe and the whole world.

The project was approved by the European Etwinning network.

Coordinated by the Borgo Valsugana Institute, Trentino Oltreconfine aims at strengthening the digital and linguistic skills of students aged 9 to 14. Students practice English, Italian, Bosnian and use the PC and the web to produce and exchange photos, collages, descriptions, maps, presentations, videos, posters which describe the contexts in which they live and the traditions from which they descend.
